My Journey

Hello I’m Noah Colgate, owner of NoahhTrains. I've been training for nearly 4 years now and have decided to pass on my knowledge to all ages, genders and sizes. Cutting and bulking has become second nature so it is good to say I have a great wealth of experience when it comes to gaining muscle or losing fat depending on my set goals. My first 3 years of training was wasted. This was because I didn't have the correct knowledge on how to train optimally. Not only this but my knowledge on nutrition was very poor. Everyday I would eat what I want, whenever I want, not caring about macros nor calories. This led to my first 3 years being wasted which annoys me to this day but you live and you learn. Don't do what I did and hold yourself accountable. I don't want anyone else to experience this which is why I would love to help people new to the fitness industry. Let me help you not to make the mistakes I made, you may save money doing it yourself but you wont save time.
Do it the right way from the start!

WHY I STARTED?
EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN JOURNEY AND REASONS WHY

2025
Personal trainer/online coach
Nearly three and a half years ago, when I weighed just 55kg, I found my motivation to start the gym in a pretty unexpected way—I lost an arm wrestle to a mate (maybe had something to do with girls but look, I was young) That one moment of defeat lit a fire inside me, and it became the spark that kickstarted my entire fitness journey. At first, I didn’t have access to a big fancy gym. I began training at home with nothing more than a simple multi-gym machine and a couple of dumbbells. For an entire year, I pushed myself in that small space, learning the basics of training, building discipline, and proving to myself that consistency mattered more than equipment.

After that first year, I made the decision to go all in and join a proper gym. That’s when things really started to change. Surrounded by more equipment, heavier weights, and a motivating environment, I pushed harder than ever and saw my biggest muscle gains. Over time, the hard work, patience, and persistence paid off. Today, I weigh 75kg—twenty kilos heavier than when I started—while maintaining a very similar body fat percentage. I’m proud not just of the number on the scale, but of the journey, the discipline I’ve built, and the confidence that’s come with it. What began as a small moment of friendly competition turned into a lifestyle that’s reshaped both my body and my mindset.
